I would get the G500 (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/mice-keyboard-combos/devices/gaming-mouse-g500), Its moar expensive than the g400 but i got it and like it lots
regarding head sets, if you want something good but wont leave you bankrupt get a Sony DR-GA100 (http://www.amazon.de/Sony-PC-Gaming-Kopfh%C3%B6rer-Klinkenstecker-dunkelgr%C3%BCn/dp/B004VQS7EA/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1328631842&sr=8-2-spell), also got that and I love it
read about it when I was in the Uk and bought a copy of PcFormat (best magazine imo, but the shitty usa does not sell it) review (http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/peripherals/speakers-and-headphones/headsets-and-headphones/sony-dr-ga100-972150/review)

That headset is good, have it love it. Regarding the mouse I would also say either go for the G500 or the G9x. Got G9 myself and with the changeable grip it sits good in hand. have used the G500 (well the old models before they changed the model number MX518 I think it was) and it fits good in hand.

Get it: G500 (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/mice-keyboard-combos/devices/gaming-mouse-g500) Naow.
This mouse is awesome. Period. I've had this thing for over two years, not a single problem, ever. I have used it on at least four different systems. Never one problem.

I had the Mx518 (the one before the one you linked) for almost 5 years and its been very solid and great mouse for a good price. If you can spend more money, go for the higher end logitech gaming mice, but if price is an issue, you wont be dissapointed with that.
Mixed reviews on the fatality headset, some say its great others say it breaks after a year. For a stereo headset/headphones i am satisfied with my sennheiser HD555 and its been great
it is necessary to have 10,000 dpi to be able to spin tank turrets

actually changed my mind, im gonna need a 5.1 headset, are there any good? ive had a speedlink medusa, which is awesome but the drivers of the newer products are so crappy :(
the g500 looks awesome, g9 is not an option, simply because it looks retarded and just looking at it makes me want NOT to ever touch it.

Currently using Turtlebeach Z6A, True 5.1 Surround, Subwoofer in headphone like a boss. Only annoying thing is that you it takes a while to get used to it's microphone feedback thing.
As for Mice, I guess anything logitech or razer offers.
