    New Gaming Headset

Since my Medusa isnt getting a little old (has actually been old for quite some years, i bought that thing over a decade ago), I'm looking for a new gaming headset.

    Requirements:
    - Microphone
    - Positional audio that is suited for the common shooters (BF, PR etc), but I guess 5.1 is enough
    - Cheap (I bought my Medusa for 60 Euros back then and Ive even earned money using that headset)

So, please advise, since I have no clue.
Is the new Medusa 5.1 any good?

Wore this headset in my Stryker (see picture below) for the last two months. If you game in the cold wet rain rolling through mud at 40mph while coordinating CAS missions then this is the headset for you. Also good for dismounted operations and sneaking up to other Strykers and Hungarian T-72's.

EDIT: Can also still hear people talk even when an entire task force is firing right next to you

Well if you happen to increase your budget at some point, I recommend these two products in unison:

Sennheiser G4ME ONE PC Gaming Headset (formerly the Sennheiser PC360)

ASUS Xonar DGX PCI-E Sound Card

5.1 headphones are a fucking scam
gaming headsets are a fucking scam

Get the best normal pair of headphones you can afford and the cheapest desk mic you can find.

Hard to find anything nice under 100. Some say Steelseries Siberia are nice.
