Well if you can't afford peltors then you should get a rich dad or uncle sam. Both work well. Anyways...

I have this because I'm rich and drive a BMW. I shall wait for Hietta to call me stupid. However, I don't care because he is a peasant.

I do have this headset for traveling or whatever. I would use them around my apartment but Im not a peasant and don't have roommates or live with my parents so I can run around naked blasting my bose speakers (again waiting for peasant Hietta to call me out). But seriously these things are great.

I seriously have to "lol" at the 32 ohm impedance on a $300 headset. That's pretty awful for that much money.

Once again you prove your disdain for a free market economy.

Well those are awful since you can get literally the exact same headphones, or ones with higher impedance if you want, for half the price. That's one expensive as fuck microphone on them.

The ATH-M50x are a great choice.

So, I got the HyperX Cloud II. Do i need to uninstall my dedicated soundcards drivers? Do I have to actually physically remove the soundcard?

If nothing is plugged into the soundcard, yes. Will cause less headaches.

Well, I am a bit financially limited. But that may well - hopefully - change soon. And the plan actually is, if its really that bad, to give it to my gf
