Recommend me a good monitor.
27inch or bigger?
144Hz?
1920*1800 vs 2560*1440?
(Just got an old 570GTX card so will probably need to upgrade it if i´m gonna up the resolution.)

First, how much space you have?
Second, how much you willing to spend?
Third, you want to game or watch movies on it as well?
144Hz is awesome, but screens with it are not well suited for watching movies. For games absolutely great.
If you go 27 inch, you must go 1440p at least. And it means you need to upgrade GPU as well, if you intend playing something else apart from PR.
First, how much space you have? Lots
Second, how much you willing to spend? Around 500eur
Third, you want to game or watch movies on it as well? Both

1. Ok, if you have the space 27 is the way to go.
2. Thats where you will have add extra
3. Because you want to do both
4. Most 144Hz screens are gaming optimized - it means that they have TN screen type, literally worst for in terms representing colors. So some colors will be off a bit, they have a lot of sharpening and black is not black witch is ok for games, because you will see more, but for movies - meh.
So they use TN type because its blazing fast and cheap. There is no issues to achieve 1 ms on them and they fit perfectly for gaming niche. But doing some photoshop or something else - not really good idea.
So then there is a solution - IPS screens. Fucking amazing picture quality, everything just looks great, colors are what they should be etc etc, its very nice to watch movies and so on. But it comes at a cost of imaging speed. Its expensive as hell to get 2-3 ms on them, so on cheap side their rate is 8 or even 14 ms on some cases. Gaming on such screen is shit, because you will see loads of "ghosting". Basically motion blur is on all the time.
So you need a combo - fast IPS screen with 144Hz and they ARE expensive. But totally worth it. Starting price tag from 500 and up.
For start something like this - https://www.asus.com/us/ROG-Republic...-SWIFT-PG27AQ/
Need to look for more options, probably there are something cheaper on market.
5. You will need new GPU and that Samsung is a meh.
Just get a BenQ XL2411Z. Cheap and works for when you gotta make them headshoots. If you need more room, get 2 and youre still spending under 500 euros.![]()
From what I know about monitors now, I would suggest the ASUS MG279Q. 144hz, 1440p, IPS, 27"
Thanks Steeps.
Went with your suggestion.
Found one on sale for 500eur.
What's the consensus on 4k monitors?
Money's not a problem. Go be poor someplace else.

Unless you have a GTX 1080 or Ti, you won't be able to run games well.
